IDW teases project with ‘Neuromancer’ author William Gibson.

gibson!

Oh fuck! One of my favorite authors is getting into the funny book game with publisher IDW. I’m in. It doesn’t even matter what the comic book is about, I’m going to be buying it.

CBR:

IDW Publishing has a new project in the works with sci-fi author William Gibson, the writer of cyberpunk classic “Neuromancer.” Full details have yet to be released, but IDW teased the project Tuesday on Twitter — with the unexpected and seemingly impossible release date of June 6, 1945 (with 2016 following in smaller letters).

Gibson himself provided some more insight into the project on his Twitter, saying it’s a four-issue miniseries written in collaboration with actor Michael St. John Smith, and broadly described its origins as “Band of Brothers vs Blackwater.”
