Oh man. Oh man, oh man! Don’t know what to make of this, if it is even true. The first season of Mr. Robot was some of my favorite television in the past five or so years. That said, I found the second season of Mr. Robot to be an unbearable train wreck. So, I guess I’ll split the difference and be cautiously optimistic.

Although there’s still little solid evidence, rumors continue to swirl about a “Star Wars” anthology film centering on Obi-Wan Kenobi.

The latest wrinkle, reported by Omegaunderground.com, is that two sources claim “Mr. Robot” creator Sam Esmail has attended a number of pitch meetings with Lucasfilm over the past two years. The sources apparently believe Esmail wants to write the script for the fabled Obi-Wan spinoff. The site also acknowledges that a number of other writers have had similar meetings, and that Lucasfilm is apparently mulling a variety of potential anthology projects involving a range of “Star Wars” characters, including Boba Fett.

Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy has so far declined comment on who or what might be the focus of any potential anthology following the 2018 Han Solo film, although she has hinted the studio might be ready to make an announcement this summer.
