‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2’ footage coming to SDCC; it “won’t” go up online

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is dropping some new footage at this year’s SDCC. Don’t get too excited, fellow plebs not attending the convention. The footage won’t be going online. ‘Cause the VFX are always early in these SDCC previews. That’s what James Gunn says. Anyone who has frequented Daily Motion or Tumblr or Anything Else after a SDCC preview knows that the footage? Probably going up online.

“Guardians of the Galaxy” is returning to Hall H — with footage. Director James Gunn confirmed the film’s presence at Comic-Con International: San Diego later this month, in addition to teasing footage that’ll be the only thing we see from the film for “a while.”

Addressing why the footage won’t go up online, Gunn explained that the VFX in the scene will likely be incomplete — thus not ready for the general public
