Marvel Has Revealed ‘PHASE 2’ MOVIE TITLES: ‘THOR: THE DARK WORLD’ and…’CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER’, F**king Yesss.

Marvel has revealed their “Phase 2” titles in the post-Avengers world, and holy fucking shit. They’re going Winter Soldier. Fuck. Yes.

“Phase Two begins right now!” the teaser recap footage from Marvel’s 2012 Comic-Con panel cried out. And the studio wasted no time making some major announcements. Right off the bat, before their talent had even taken the stage, Marvel revealed the titles for all their phase two films.

“You want to hear a little bit about what’s coming up?” Marvel chief Kevin Feige teased. “The first one, we’re halfway through now, is ‘Iron Man 3.’ ” Before audiences could complain he was stating the audience the studio dove into the real meat of their phase two plan.

The sequel to “Thor” has been given the title, “‘Thor: The Dark World.” As previously revealed, it’s being directed by Alan Taylor (known for directing several key eps of “Game Of Thrones”) and it arrives in theaters on November 8, 2013. Captain American fanboys will be thrilled for the teasing title of its second picture, “Captain America: The Winter Soldier,” a storyline fans know will center on Bucky Barnes, played by Sebastian Stan, thought to have been killed in “Captain America: The First Avenger.” Directed by comedy filmmakers Anthony and Joe Russo (thus far anyway) ‘Winter Soldier’ arrives in theaters on April 4, 2014.

Finally, Marvel confirmed the recently leaked rumors. “Guardians Of The Galaxy” will be their August 1, 2014 release. The characters confirmed for the film include Starlord, Drax the Destroyer, Groot and Rocket Raccoon.
