Tom Hiddleston in “advanced talks” to play James Bond

Tom Hiddleston

Fuck yeah! After watching Night Manager, I am more than concerned than convinced that I would love Loki as my next Bond, James Bond.

Spin-Off:

Although BBC News insisted just last week that Daniel Craig hasn’t made a decision about his future as James Bond, mounting evidence is beginning to suggest otherwise.

On the heels of a report that Jamie Bell has spoken with producer Barbara Broccoli about the 007 role comes word Tom Hiddleston — long rumored as Craig’s potential successor — “is in fact in advanced talks” for the job.

That’s according to Birth.Movies. Death, which states, “our source confirms that while talks have indeed taken place, and that Hiddleston very much wants the job (a fact of which he’s made no secret), no official offer has been made — yet.”

The website suggests that could mean Craig has indeed moved on, to the surprise of no one, or that Eon Productions is holding meetings in a bid to push the actor into a decision.

Hiddleston has made little secret that he would like to play Bond, saying “it would be an extraordinary opportunity.” Although everyone from Idris Elba to Tom Hardy has been mentioned for the role, the odds recently tipped abruptly in Hiddleston’s after he was reportedly spotted meeting Broccoli.
