MEGAN FOX is APRIL O’NEIL’ in the ‘NINJA TURTLES’ MOVIE reboot. It’s all f**king over.

Megan Fox.

If there was any doubt (there shouldn’t have been) that Michael Bay’s Ninja Thing Alien Surfers reboot was going to suck, you can cast aside those foolish notions. Megan Fox has joined the enterprise, portraying a childhood crush of mine. She’ll be taking the role over, bringing to it freakishly large thumbs, and raging vapidity.

Play List:

Well, that was fast. Aside from “Jonah Hex,” and “Passion Play,” where intentions were good, Megan Foxhasn’t been in a truly terrible movie since, “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen” (let’s not speak of “Jennifer’s Body” shall we?) The actress fell out with director Michael Bay in 2008 in the aftermath of the critical hazing the film received and seemed to be taking a promising detour from blockbuster shlock with interesting roles in smaller comedies like “Friends With Kids,” and Judd Apatow‘s “ThIs Is 40.” But is that excursion over already?

Bay and Fox have buried the hatchet with whatever beef they had and Fox will now star as April O’Neil in the awful-sounding live-action CG hybrid movie “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” reboot from Bay’s Platinum Dunes company and Paramount. “TMNT: we are bringing Megan Fox back into the family!” Bay wrote on his website tonight. Several outlets including THR confirmed she’ll be playing O’Neil, the one human friend of the Ninja Turtles. Jonathan Liebesman, director of two films that have made our worst of lists two years in a row, “Battle Los Angeles,” (we didn’t publish a list in 2011, but trust us) and “Wrath Of The Titans,” is helming. Good luck.
