New AMC show is ‘BLADE RUNNER’ meets ‘BATTLESTAR.’ Don’t tease me.

Ballistic City.

There is a new pilot about to be shot for AMC, which incidentally may cause me to shoot some white stuff. Ew! Gross! Sorry, sorry. Anyways, the new television show is described as a cross between Battlestar and Blade Runner. Glorious! Give me this!

AMC:

Holy crap, this sounds promising. AMC wants a new genre show to serve as a companion piece to The Walking Dead, and according to Deadline, they’re developing Ballistic City, described as “Blade Runner meets Battlestar Galactica.” Crime on a generation ship!

The pilot would be directed and executive produced by Joseph Kosinski (Tron Legacy, Oblivion) and written by Travis Beacham (Pacific Rim). Also producing: Anonymous Content’s Steve Golin, Bard Dorros and Michael Sugar. According to Deadline, Ballistic City “tells the story of a former cop thrust into the criminal underworld of a city housed in a generational space ship destined for an unknown world.”
