‘Fallout 4’ Automatron DLC Trailer: Battle Bots In The Wasteland

Man. Just when I think I’m done with Fallout 4, Bethesda announces their first slice of DLC hits in eight days. But ha! I have the antidote for my Fallout 4 addiction! Yes! It’s uh, an addiction to another game. The Division.

UPROXX:

Last month Bethesda announced that the first DLC content pack for Fallout 4, entitled Automatron, would be coming some time in March. Well, with March nearly half over, Bethesda has finally given us a specific release date and trailer for Automatron.

In Automatron, a mysterious, sinister force known as The Mechanist has begun flooding The Commonwealth with dastardly robotic baddies. These enemies can be destroyed, scrapped and used to craft your own unique robot companion to help you in your adventures, and ultimately end the threat of The Mechanist. The trailer above gives us a first look at the robot crafting mechanics, and they look pretty versatile. When building your robot buddy you can go sleek, retro-cool or just create a giant friggin’ tank to roll over everything in your path.

Fallout 4: Automatron will be released March 22 as part of the Fallout 4 season pass, or for $10 if you buy the content pack individually. In addition, two more DLC add-ons, Wasteland Workshop and Far Harbour have been announced for release in April and May.

What do you folks think? Like what you’ve seen of Automatron? I, for one, am pretty excited to start playing me some post-apocalyptic Rock ‘Em Sock ‘Em Robots.
