Watch: ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ Screen Test has Chris Pratt cracking up Dave Bautista
Marvel has dropped a Guardians of the Galaxy screen test, featuring the eventual Star-Lord and Drax. The two of them riff pretty well, with Pratt still looking a bit Andy Dwyer (god bless, rest in peace), and Bautista looking…smaller? Or at least grayer.
As the release of the Marvel Cinematic Universe: Phase 2 Collection looms ever closer, Marvelhas released some never-before-seen footage of Chris Pratt and Dave Bautista auditioning for the roles of Peter Quill and Drax in “Guardians of the Galaxy” (via Yahoo! Movies). The two act out a scene where Qull stops Drax from killing Gamora, a sequence which made the final cut of the film. The two go back-and-forth and improvise a little, with Pratt making Bautista laugh towards the end of the video.
The footage was originally tweeted out by director James Gunn. The Marvel Cinematic Universe: Phase 2 Collection is available to pre-order now from Amazon with a release date of Tuesday December 8.
