Fox has officially ordered ‘GOTHAM.’ Fans are rabid!

Fox has made the first official series order of the fall season for Gotham, the prequel that looks at the world of Batman through a view that is, at long last, unobstructed by Batman. The show has had an incredibly high-profile inception as is, thanks to the intense interest from Batman fans who are nevertheless cool with their Batmanthings not having Batman in them. Still, other than those limited character descriptions and stiff casting photos that have already been pored over for months, it’s still too early in Gotham’s history to say very much. But as we all know, things only get more interesting the earlier in their development they are. [AV Club]
