‘MASS EFFECT’ series writer to pen ‘MASS EFFECT: FOUNDATION’ comics. Shiz is canon!

Mass Effect foundation and shit.

I’m not over Mass Effect. I’ll never be over Mass Effect. Nearly a year after Mass Effect 3: 99.9% Awesomeness, I’m beginning to feign for new iterations of the series. So yeah, bring on a canonical comic book series. I’m ready!

Polygon:

Mass Effect 2 and 3 lead writer Mac Walters will write an ongoing canonical comic series called Mass Effect: Foundation, Dark Horse Comics announced.

Mass Effect: Foundation #1, a direct tie-in to the game’s downloadable content Citadel, will be available on July 24 through retailers and Dark Horse Digital. The series will introduce new characters in the “vibrant, engaging world” off Mass Effect.

Citadel is expected to launch on March 5 for PlayStation 3, Windows PC and Xbox 360. The DLC will cost $14.99 (1200 Microsoft Points) and focus on “one final, sentimental journey with Commander Shepard” and his squad. Citadel, announced alongside multiplayer add-on Reckoning, is the final downloadable pack for Mass Effect 3.
