Jak and Daxter HD Spotted On Retail Site? Oh Yeah, Son. [And Daughter.]
Uncharted is one of my favorite franchises of this generation. It’s done right by me, and millions. Yet, I cannot help but miss Naughty Dog’s previous go-to, Jak and Daxter. So while I never get very excited for an HD remake (outside of MGS), this announcement has my balls a buzzin’.
A Jak and Daxter HD Collection has popped up on South African retailer BT Games’ website. As Digital Spy notes, the retailer had a January 2012 release date on the fuller page (since removed), but that date could have been a placeholder. Sony has yet to confirm a Jak and Daxter collection.
An HD collection would likely include the three core entries in the Jak series, perhaps with kart racer Jak X as a bonus. Hm, we’re probably using the word “bonus” there incorrectly, but let’s roll with it.
