    I’ve been looking forward to this movie for years, but this trailer didn’t really do anything for me.

    Maybe I’m just not in the right mood, but “A bunch of Academy Award Winners in a Movie About a President We All Love the Hell Out Of” is hitting me as more Oscar-bait than anything else.

    Still, it’ll probably be awesome.

    I agree with it being a tad overwrought, but that’s part-and-parcel Spielberg. That being said, America is more divided now than at any time SINCE the Civil War, so it may be nice to see a vision, however romantic, of the man that brought us back from the brink. There are hundreds of texts that can give us the “truth,” so I’m not going to sour on this film just yet. PLUS – DD-L, man, that dude will sell it, you know he will!

    I know this is kind of small, but am I the only one who thought Abe Lincoln would have a more booming voice? I know he was timid but I always pictured his speeches stronger sounding.
