‘Last Night in Soho’ Trailer: Edgar Wright’s Psychological Thriller Involves…Time Travel?

We finally got a fucking trailer for Edgar Wright’s Last Night in Soho. Which naturally means I…didn’t watch it? Hey man, I don’t want fucking anything spoiled for me. Especially since this jam of his seems steeped more in mystery than usual. That said: fucking torqued. That said: can’t wait for October.

Bloody Disgusting:

When the past lets you in, the truth will come out.

Up next from Edgar Wright (Shaun of the Dead, Baby Driver) is the psychological horror movie Last Night in Soho, which Focus Features is releasing on October 22, 2021.

Last Night in Soho, starring Anya Taylor-Joy and Thomasin McKenzie, is set in London’s Soho district during the Swinging Sixties, and there’s a travel element involved…

In the film, “A young girl, passionate about fashion design, is mysteriously able to enter the 1960s where she encounters her idol, a dazzling wannabe singer. But 1960s London is not what it seems, and time seems to fall apart with shady consequences.”

[It] feels a bit like Edgar Wright’s Argento film. One thing is for certain: this is going to be a *very* different experience than we’re used to from Wright…

Wright wrote the script with Krysty Wilson-Cairns (“Penny Dreadful”).
