As much as I’m looking forward to Spider-Man: Far From Home, I’m going to lose my fucking mind if its trailer drops before Avengers 4‘s.

As this is a rumor from a source outside of Marvel Studios/Sony Pictures, it’s entirely possible that the first trailer for the film won’t drop this weekend. However, DanielRPK has provided accurate information about trailer release dates in the past, so fans may just end up seeing footage from Spider-Man: Far From Home in the near future. Still, take this one with a grain of salt.

This new rumor comes amidst rumors surrounding the hotly anticipated sequel to Avengers: Infinity War. There were rumors that the trailer would debut this week, but the death of former president George H.W. Bush apparently delayed that release. If this rumor about Spider-Man: Far From Home‘s first trailer is true, it seems likely that the trailer for Avengers 4 will release before Saturday, as it doesn’t make much sense to air footage from Spider-Man: Far From Home before Avengers 4.

If both the trailers for Avengers 4 and Spider-Man: Far From Home drop this week, that means Marvel Studios will have released three trailers in one week, as the second trailer for Captain Marvel debuted on Monday.

The plot of Spider-Man: Far From Home is unknown at this time. However, the movie will pick up shortly after the events of Avengers 4. Set photos for the movie have shown that Jake Gyllenhaal will make his Marvel Cinematic Universe debut as Mysterio in the film.
