P. dope, man. P. dope. Now Kit Harington can act poorly across even more media mediums.

Polygon:

Game of Thrones actor Kit Harington is joining Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare as “the face of the enemy,” Activision announced today.

Kit Harington is of course best known for his role as the hair-conscious Jon Snow (and absolutely not that one time he starred in a Silent Hill movie). The game’s narrative director, Taylor Kurosaki, said in a prepared statement that team is eager to see Harington play a different character than those he’s known for.

“Our story is about an epic showdown of opposing forces, and Kit immersed himself into the role and truly became the embodiment of the enemy, the Settlement Defense Front,” Kurosaki said.

Director Guy Ritchie is also attached to the project to “lend additional support to production.” Ritchie previously worked on the live-action trailer “Surprise” for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2.

“Guy Ritchie is a friend of the franchise, so it was great to have him back to work with us, assisting in bringing Kit Harington’s character to life in Infinite Warfare,” Infinity Ward studio head Dave Stohl said.

Earlier this week, Mashable uncovered a video of Harington in what appeared to be a motion capture rig, setting off speculation that the actor might appear in the upcoming game. Harington is the latest to join the spate of notable actors in Call of Duty franchise, which includes names such as Kevin Spacey, Jeff Goldblum and John Malkovich.
