‘BioShock: The Collection’ rated for PS4, XB1, and PC by ESRB

BioShock Infinite

When the fuck is 2KGames just going to confirm the BioShock HD collection? There have been so many goddamn leaks, with the latest being courtesy of the ESRB.

IGN:

The ERSB listing (via gematsu.com) describes BioShock: The Collection as “a collection of three first-person shooters in which players assume the role of characters uncovering the mysteries behind the dystopian societies of Rapture and Columbia” and makes references to the game’s mature themes.

We first heard about the possibility of a BioShock collection back in September of 2015, when South African site, Raru, published a listing for the game. Since there, details have also popped up on a Taiwanese game ratings website, but 2K has yet to confirm the announcement, stating it does not respond to rumours or speculation.

If you missed any of the BioShock games the first time around, we have reviews forBioShock, BioShock 2 and BioShock Infinite to help you get up to speed. In the first review, we gave the game 9.7, stating: “There is art here, despite what many would say isn’t possible with games, from Roger Ebert to game designers like Hideo Kojima. But it’s in BioShock–it’s in the gorgeously realized, watery halls of Rapture.

“They didn’t just deliver something that’s fun to play, a criterion so often cited as the benchmark of what makes a game worthwhile. BioShock stands as a monolithic example of the convergence of entertaining gameplay and an irresistibly sinister, engrossing storyline that encompasses a host of multifaceted characters. This is an essential gaming experience.”
