‘Mighty No. 9’ Trailer: (Not) Mega Man wants you to bring it in co-op and online

New trailer for Mighty No. 9, hitting at a time when I’m still trying to work my way through Mega Man X. Holy futz, that game is unforgiving. But hey! Have this trailer.

Polygon:

Mighty No. 9 looks to be gearing up for its long-delayed release on Feb. 9. Today, the PlayStation Blog debuted a new trailer for Mega Man creator Keiji Inafune’s upcoming crowdfunded project. Take a look above to see the game in action on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3.

Premiering in the video are two of the game’s online modes: co-op challenge and race battle. It also shows off previously announced features like boss rush and a single-player challenge mode.

Keiji Inafune is confirmed to be on hand at this weekend’s PlayStation Experience as well, according to the post. He’ll be there to show off the game, a demo of which was delayed at the last second and which has suffered several scheduling changes over the course of its long development.

You’ll be able to play Mighty No. 9 on a variety of platforms — along with PS4 and PS3, it will hit Linux, Mac, Nintendo 3DS, Nintendo Wii U, Windows PC, Xbox One and Xbox 360 on Feb. 9, or in San Francisco at PlayStation Experience, which runs Dec. 5-6.
