Alexandra Daddario starring in ‘Baywatch’ movie with Dwayne Johnson
Good grief. I was already going to see Baywatch because I love that big old slab of gorgeous beef, Dwayne Johnson. But now that Alexandra Daddario (from *that* scene in True Detective‘s first season) is going to be in it? Thrice sold.
What was earlier rumored has now been confirmed by Dwayne Johnson on Instagram (or as Deadline calls it, “an exclusive”): Alexandra Daddario (True Detective, countless fantasies) has been cast in the upcoming Baywatchmovie. Daddario will play Summer, previously portrayed by Nicole Eggert ofCharles in Charge fame, in the film, which is being directed by Seth Gordon (Horrible Bosses, Four Christmases, Identity Thief). Daddario recently played Johnson’s daughter in San Andreas (despite them being only 14 years apart in real life), so it would be a kind of meta-fictional incest if they hook up inBaywatch. (Would that make it hotter? Discuss.)
