‘Agent Carter’ Season 2 Poster: Peggy and the Bright Lights

Agent Carter season 2.

I…I need to finish the first season of Agent Carter. I certainly enjoyed what I saw of it, and I think it only stalled because at the time my wife and I were in the middle of a Fast & Furious franchise binge session. Which, I know, is a heretical and completely unacceptable reason to some (but not us).

CBR:

According to season two’s official plot synopsis, Peggy will head to Los Angeles for some Cold War-era espionage: “Dedicated to the fight against new atomic age threats in the wake of World War II, Peggy must now journey from New York City to Los Angeles for her most dangerous assignment yet. But even as she discovers new friends, a new home — and perhaps even a new love — she’s about to find out that the bright lights of the post-war Hollywood mask a more sinister threat to everyone she is sworn to protect.”

Even though Peggy will be moving from one coast to another, James D’Arcy and Enver Gjokajwill reprise their roles as Peggy’s begrudging sidekick, Edwin Jarvis, and her coworker, Daniel Sousa, though it appears that Sousa will now be her boss. The new season will also feature Madame Masque as an antagonist.

Starring Atwell and D’Arcy, “Agents Carter” season two is expected to air in January 2016 during “Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D.’s” midseason break on ABC.
