Watch: ‘Half-Line: Miami’ is real, playable mash-up

Polygon:

Unlike those Lego: Whatever videos we’ve showcased over the years, the creator of Half-Line Miami promises this will be a playable game “somewhere soon, stay tuned.”

Half-Line Miami, by Thomas Kole, has four reimagined maps so far, and “all physics interactions work as expected.” This is important when your top-down dude is packing a Gravity Gun instead of a regular old boomstick. “All gameplay elements are in place,” Kole promises. You can watch it in action above, and follow the game’s progress on Reddit.

So where the hell is it already? Hold your horses, he’s “cleaning up some code” and replacing the sound system “as it currently only works on Windows 8.”

Dig the soundtrack? Listen to it here.
