Buy EVERY SUPER NINTENDO GAME EVER for $24,999. Not bad, not bad.

Quick, swine! Hook me up during this holiday season. I  don’t really need every single Super Nintendo game ever, but do we actually ask for things we need during Christmas time? Fuck no! Embrace the excessiveness. Do so, of course, by buying me this ridiculous lot.

Polygon:

A Reddit user is selling his Super Nintendo game collection, which contains all 721 SNES games ever released in the U.S., Mexico and Canada, on eBay for $24,999.

The seller, who goes by the name “Byuu” on Reddit, says that every single game in the collection comes with its original box and approximately 85 percent of the games come with their original manuals. The collection does not include unlicensed games, and every game has been professionally cleaned and tested. “They all work perfectly,” Byuu says.

The collection was built up from individual sales so the quality of the games range from near-mint condition to “fair”.

Posting to Reddit, Byuu says:

I built this set to obtain scans and clean verified dumps for every game, which I have now finished. The scans are appearing on snescentral.com, and the improved emulation will appear in the next higan/bsnes release. I will be using 100% of the profits from this sale to do the same for the European and Japanese sets next.

This set represents three years of effort. From scouring every used game store in my home state, to bartering purchases from dozens of vendors online, to enlisting the help of everyone willing to search around their areas to find things for me, to donations of items that are impossible to find for sale anywhere, to hundreds upon hundreds of hours cleaning and polishing everything. I’ve never seen a set this complete before, and it’s unlikely another one will ever surface.

The Ohio-based seller has gone through the effort of listing every game in the collection along with a rating that informs potential buyers of the condition of the game cartridge, the instruction manual and the box.

Byuu says the price is negotiable and offers made outside of eBay will be considered.
