‘Darksiders II’ Gets Release Date; The Apocalypse Digs The Beach
The Mayan Year of Oblivion is already stacked to the guts with quality releases, and Darksiders II is another pig you can add to the list of worthy snags. THQ has dropped an official release date for the title, as well as info on the multitudes of pre-order bonuses accompanying it.

GameStop: ‘Death Rides’ Pack-Features multiple exclusive side-quests allowing players to explore more of the Maker’s Realm and Dead Plains. In addition players will be able to aid an ancient Construct, battle The Bloodless and retrieve Karn’s lost treasure.
Best Buy: ‘Angel of Death’ Pack-Features enhanced armor with an angel inspired design as well as a pair of matching scythes. In addition players will receive an exclusive purple colored visual trail for their crow.
Amazon: ‘Deadly Despair’ Pack-Features an additional speed boost for Death’s horse Despair, that allows players to traverse the world at a much faster rate.

That’s right! Darksiders II now has a stake in the ground for June 26th release in the US and June 29th release in Europe. We are very excited to announce the official date, and glade we can put the game on everyone’s calendar for the summer.
A late June release date makes a lot of goddamn sense, as they’re carving out some real estate before the deluge arrives in early fall and carries away our wallets into the abyss.
