Obsidian Entertainment Developing Game For ‘Leading Animation Franchise’. Poor Bastards.

Obsidian Entertainment. The company that (to me) took a fat shit all over the KOTOR and Fallout franchises. Twice being tagged in to come up with sequels to beast mode wunder-titles. Twice defecating. Everywhere. Now they’re developing for an enormous animation franchise or something. I feel bad for this foolish company.

Digital Development Management is like Gus from Breaking Bad. DDM works behind the scenes, making connections and taking advantage of opportunities while the patsies — video game developers and publishers — make the money. DDM represents some major studios, and it revealed some interesting information about their future projects in a recent corporate slideshow.

Obsidian Entertainment, the studio behind Fallout: New Vegas and Dungeon Siege 3, is developing an “unannounced project for [a] leading animation franchise,” according to DDM’s presentation. It also says Need for Speed: Shift developer Slightly Mad Studios is working on an unannounced project, which could be its crowd-sourced venture, C.A.R.S. Triumph Studios, creator of the Overlord and Age of Wonders franchises, is also working on an unannounced title, DDM’s presentation says.

Good luck.
