‘Ant-Man and the Wasp’ Trailer: Maybe You Just Need Someone Watching Your Back

Ant-Man was better than I could have ever predicted, so fuck yeah I’m excited for the sequel! That said. Oh, that said. While I enjoy the trailer for its sequel, it does seem to be missing the Paul Rudd/Adam McKay humorous flair that had me really enjoying the first. Here’s hoping there’s more of it in the actual movie.

Still though, I enjoy this trailer.

CBR:

We also catch glimpses of Hannah John-Kamen as Ghost and Laurence Fishburne as Bill Foster, and the return of Giant-Man — and not only in Civil War flashbacks.

The teaser also gives the sense that — again, as we might expect — the nascent partnership between Ant-Man and The Wasp is likely to be bumpy, as Hope points out to Scott if he’d asked her to help Captain America, he’d likely wouldn’t have been arrested. It’s tough to argue with that.

Opening July 6, director Peyton Reed’s Ant-Man and the Wasp stars Paul Rudd as Scott Lang, Evangeline Lilly as Hope van Dyne, Michael Douglas as Hank Pym, Michelle Pfeiffer as Janet van Dyne, Judy Greer as Maggie, Bobby Canavale as Paxton, Michael Peña as Luis, T.I. as Dave, David Dastmalchian as Kurt, Walton Goggins as Sonny Burch, Hannah John-Kamen as Ghost, and Laurence Fishburne as Bill Foster.
