Marvel is launching ‘Rogue One: A Star Wars Story’ Prequel Series
A Prequel Comic Book series for a Prequel Movie installment in the Star Wars movie series. Boxes within boxes within boxes. An infinitely receding horizon of tie-ins and stories about stories about stories already told.
At today’s Diamond Comics Retailer breakfast ahead of C2E2, Marvel revealed a “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story” prequel series on the way, introducing us to the new characters of the upcoming “Star Wars” anthology film.
The House of Ideas announced the three-issue “Rogue One” prequel series, as well as a one-shot that will release in October. No further details have been revealed at this time.
