WUT: More ‘BORDERLANDS 2’ DLC coming. Shoot & Loot 4-Eva.

Borderlands 2.

Holy mung, sign me up. There is more Borderlands 2 DLC in the works. I had thought (and I don’t think I’m alone) that Tiny Tina was the last installment of DLC for the franchise. Turns out, it was the last installment for the season pass. Well shit. Looks like whatever comes out next I will have to pay for, but I don’t give no shits.

In a recent episode of the Nerdist podcast, Gearbox head Randy Pitchford said the studio isn’t calling it quits on Borderlands 2 DLC.

“We are going to do more, we are going to do some other things. I don’t have details exactly of it yet cause we’re not ready to announce what the other things are,” Pitchford said around the one hour, nine-minute mark in the show. Gearbox has “more stuff in the hopper that we’re planning and getting pretty excited about. So if you are a Borderlands 2fan, you don’t have to be afraid that that’s the end of it.”

The latest DLC campaign for Borderlands 2Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep, is the fourth and final component of the Borderlands 2 season pass. It places the original Vault Hunters from Borderlands in a tabletop role-playing session helmed by brash youth Tiny Tina.

I’ve barely dug into the DLC, so I’m surfing on what is pretty much a second game’s worth of content to be played. This is just one more batch upon the glorious pile that awaits me.
