Samuel L. Jackson Is Going To Be In Tarantino’s ‘Django Unchained’. Word.

Generally I’m fucking tired of Samuel L. Jackson. Respect his past performances when, you know, he used to act. These days? Meh. Also, fuck him as Nick Fury. Still, I can’t help but be excited that he’s going to reteam with Tarantino for ‘Django Unchained’.

Daily Blam:

The Avengers actor will reunite once again with the infamous Pulp Fiction director for his upcoming ode to spaghetti westerns, portraying a villainous house-slave.

Samuel L. Jackson has officially signed on to play Stephen in Django Unchained from director Quentin Tarantino (Inglourious Basterds). This marks the fourth time the pair have collaborated together, the last time being a brief cameo in Kill Bill Volume 2. Jackson’s character Stephen may be a slave, but he also acts as the movie’s main villain Calvin Candie’s (Leonardo DiCaprio) right hand man.

In other news (hollywood.com reports) veteran TV actor Gerald McRaney (Deadwood, Major Dad, Simon & Simon) has signed onto the film in an undisclosed role.

I need this movie. Now. More than a year away? Frowns. Frowns everywhere.
