PlayStation 4 sales have surpassed 30 millionworldwide
PlayStation 4! Selling like hot cakes! Around the world. Sort of crazy that the console is apparently showing the fastest growth in the line’s history.
Sony bringing PS2 Emulation to PlayStation 4; it’s a start
Sony is bringing PS2 emulation to its newest rig. I hold myself 1,000% solely responsible for this development, after weeks of barking about the lack of backwards compatibility on the PS4. And this? This is a start. However, Sony is still holding out on the White Whale, PS3 support. ‘Cause, you know, they want you to check out their shitty streaming service. But it is a start.
‘Deus Ex: Mankind Divided’ delayed until August 23; I may be done with ‘Fallout 4’ by then
I was sort of shocked when UbiFolk announced that the new Deus Ex was dropping early next year. The game had just been revealed, these sort of AAA games take forever to develop, you know, that happy horseshit. Seemed…too soon. And! Apparently it was, since the game has been delayed.
‘The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD’ coming to Wii U on March 4, 2016
Hey! Who needs a new Legend of Zelda game?! I mean, I would surely like one! But I’m not going to be getting it any time soon, it appears. Instead, Nintendo is offering me a futzing second Zelda HD Remake for the Wii U. Hard pass.
Cloud Strife from ‘Final Fantasy VII’ to be in ‘Smash Smash Bros’
Holy shit. I own Super Smash Bros, but I’ve lamentably never played it. The time is coming. The time is coming soon when I must fix this.
Xbox One getting backwards compatibility for 104 games this week
XB1 is getting that backwards compatibility game on this week, with an initial list of 104 games being supported. I know the aforementioned list is much maligned for the titles it contains, but just the promise of b/c in general has me stoked. Plus! I mean. It features Mass Effect, and apparently it runs better on the XB1.
