‘Yakuza 6’ Trailer: Kick ass in kick ass graphics

Irrational Games (‘BioShock’) hiring for “narrative first-person shooter” project

After BioShock Infinite, Ken Levine announced that he was taking his talents (and his studio) in a different direction. And while it’s probably too early to judge, I’m going to anyways! Levine’s company is hiring for a “narrative first-person shooter”, which. You know. Sounds a lot like BioShock. IDFK?

Watch: Stream Xbox One games to Microsoft’s own HoloLens glasses

The future of augmented reality! Is! Surfing the slick Internet as a Console Cowboy! Or! No! It’s playing Halo 5 on the toilet as you rip a gnarly Doritos-and-Dew dump, courtesy of the HoloLens glasses adoring your cool, cool face.

‘System Shock 3’ has been revealed!

System Shock 3.

I never played the original System Shock games, and I feel like I am lesser due that failure. But maybe I can get on the cyberpunk shooter ball with this third title, which is apparently coming.

‘Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End’ Cutscene: Sully’s All Dressed Up For The New Lady

‘Half-Life 3’ added to Steam Database. But I ain’t getting excited

Half-Life 3 has been added to the Steam Database. Some will interpret this as a signal that the much-anticipated third title in the series is coming. I’m choosing to interpret it in pretty much any other way, since I don’t want to get my hopes up.

I like the changes!), and you’re feeling left out. You feel like you deserve something to huff and puff and fanboy fume about, too. Well, good news, fan looking for faux-outrage to glom onto. Square has announced that the FFVII:Remake is going to be “multi-part” — and I don’t know which of the next two options I hate more.

PlayStation 2 games have launched on PlayStation 4; but you have to futzing pay for them

Now avail~

C’mon, Sony. C’mon! Microsoft is dropping backwards compatibility on the XB1, and you have responded with this half-assed nonsense. Whereas Microsoft is allowing you to play (granted, last generation’s) old XBOX games on your new rig, you’re charging us to play PS2 games on the PS4 that we already own. If there are technical reasons (asides from, “hey, we spiffed them up!”), I understand it. But if it’s just raw capitalism (and listen, I get it), you’re beginning to stink like the arrogance MicroKing of last generation who squeezed every last 360-Dollar out of my bank account.

‘Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End’ PSX 2015 Trailer: Now With Dialogue Options!

‘Rez Infinite’ Trailer: Coming to PlayStation VR and PS4

Oh man, Sony not playing fair. They know I ain’t buying no sort of PlayStation VR, or at least I’m holding out. So how do they tempt me? Throw Rez up in them offerings. The idea of being fully immersed in Rez‘s world is so tempting. Fuck. They fucked up though, offering it for PlayStation 4, as well. I can do it. I can hold out.
