Average ass Scott Derrickson directing ‘Labyrinth’ sequel so I’m glad I don’t care deeply about that movie
After watching a good portion of his filmography, I’m fairly certain that Scott Derrickson is functional at best. So if I was a fan of the original, I really wouldn’t be stoked that he’s directing a Labyrinth sequel.

Scott Derrickson is returning to direct Doctor Strange 2, folks. It’s a nice but expected development, right? Unless you’re one of those folk that bought into the idea that those culled by Thanos’ snap are dead for good. And so this news of a sequel must be startling. Joaquin Phoenix totally close to being named ‘Doctor Strange’
It appears that Joaquin Phoenix is going to continue keeping it strange. Doctor Strange!, that is! (I HATE MYSELF AND MY WRITING.) Some time ago this summer (depending when/where you exist within the space-time continuum) it was announced that Phoenix was going to be nabbing the role of Marvel’s Mystic. Then! Silence. Murmurs. Now! Confirmation.
Marvel’s ‘Dr. Strange’ won’t be an origin story. Yeah. okay.
According to That Guy from Rad Azz Digest, Marvel’s Dr. Strange isn’t going to be an origin story. Which, whatever, okay? First off – so what. Second off – I have to say I think we’re going to be delving into the ontology of what constitutes an origin story. Like just because we aren’t going to see Stevey Strange sprouting pubes doesn’t mean that being introduced to him and his backstory isn’t an origin story. Am I making sense here? Bueller?
