Terrence Malick is perhaps the most unique American filmmaker working today. Meticulous yet wandering, his work is instantly identifiable. A brief clip or even a shot from any one his movies screams “Malick”–a surefire sign of an artist doing his own thing and doing it damn well. And the trailer for his newest film To The Wonder is no exception. It is utterly gorgeous. Check it out after the jump.
Cyeah! Here’s the full trailer for Skyfall. It’s got everything you’d expect from Bond. Senseless violence. Senseless seduction. Him trapped to a chair while a villain monologues.
Daniel Craig is flapping those sultry lips, dropping some info about Skyfall. The most encouraging detail he’s let fly out of those grizzled yet interestingly warm kissing-pistons is that Jimmy Bond ain’t going to be frowning so much in the next flick. Good!
Warner Bros. is looking to get into The Dark Tower game. That book series by that Stephen King guy, which has been pronounced as a multi-movie, multi-TV season extravaganza. It’s going to be such an amazing disaster, and dammit I want to see this monstrosity birthed to life.
Ya’ll want some Skyfall set photos upside your dome-pieces as well as some new information from the flick? ‘Course you do. Unless you’re just here to stare at Daniel Craig’s happy trailer. Sadly this is the one batch of pictures that don’t feature it.
