Report: ‘The Batman’ Is Being Directed By Matt Reeves
When Batfleck announced he wasn’t directing The Batman, the first name that dropped as his replacement was Matt Reeves. It appears that name was, in fact, correct. And my take? Sure? Dude is competent enough. Enormous fall down from Christopher Nolan, maybe a fall down from Affleck, certainly Jesus Christ in comparison to Zack Snyder.

William Shatner is adding his pipes to the pantheon of dope folk who have worked on Batman animated features. I don’t fuck with the Batman animated movies, but I know a lot of people who do. Hopefully they receive this news well!
Ben Affleck reveals his Batman movie will be called…The Batman
Ben Affleck has confirmed that his solo Batman movie is titled The Batman. Truthfully, I don’t even know why I’m fucking covering this. Probably because I’m stuck at home all day, while my plumbing system is being fixed to the sound of hundreds of dollars. I need this, okay? This banality.
Rumor: Standalone ‘Batman’ Movie won’t take place only in Arkham Asylum
The rumor for a good long minute has been that the first Ben Affleck Batman movie would take place in Arkham Asylum. This sounded wonderful, since it caged the movie in the warm bosom of a favorite video game (Batman: Arkham Asylum, uh, obviously) and would riff on two favorite action movies (Dredd, The Raid). Well, the newest rumor has the movie doing a lot more than hanging around the Asylum. Fine, fine!
