Why does every battle music track in this game kick my fucking ass? If there’s just one thing this game nailed, man oh man.

I mean, 5 STARS. According to the game’s retarded ranking system.

This is definitely the most differentiated FF experience I’ve seen in the main-line FF series. It makes XII look like a normal member of the family, and I didn’t think that possible. Frankly, I’m glad the series isn’t stagnating and is taking some risks, but I’m not sure I personally like the individual changes made this time around. Still getting used to it all. Game’s motherfucking slick though, no denying.

I also consider myself a FF Fanboy and some some inexplicable reason, I have never given a shit about this game. I can’t explain it. Have I changed? Has FF changed? I don’t know. I still have urges to pick up FFIV and pal around with Cecil and Kain, maybe even throw in FFV and party with Bartz and Galuf, maybe a spin around the old FFVI tree with Locke, Terra, Celes and Umaru. Perhaps even pick up FF:TA and marshal my armies to victory. But FFXIII is like going to a Revolutions game … yea, its at Foxboro where my football team plays, but its not what I want to watch … Fucking Soccer!!!

Okay, so at the current point your at in the game, would you say its more of an overhyped game? Or would you say you have this nagging feeling that the game is lulling you into a false sence of disappointment before it pulls out the big guns, throws rope all over your face, and demands you kneel and pay hommage to its awesomeness?

Watching: Leverage. Me and my girlfriend started the first season yesterday and somehow managed to watch 10 of the 13 episodes. Stuff like this is the reason why I have Netflix. Streaming stuff onto my 360 FTW.
