God of War appeared during Sony’s Paris Games Week media showcase, where the publisher debuted a new gameplay trailer.
The footage shows our old friend Kratos, who’s now a doting dad. But even though fatherhood may have softened him a bit, it hasn’t stopped him from being the same old strong Spartan we know and love. The biggest difference is that his young and excitable son is trailing alongside him during his adventure.
The next God of War game was first revealed during E3 2016. At last year’s E3 event, Sony confirmed an early 2018 release date for the latest release in the PlayStation-exclusive franchise.
