I keep forgetting this anthology series is in development. Dope news, though. Steve Buscemi starring in an episode of Electric Dreams? Fuck yes.

AV Club:

Amazon’s started building up the cast for its Philip K. Dick anthology series, Electric Dreams. In addition to an appearance from producer Bryan Cranston, the show has also drawn Steve Buscemi, Greg Kinnear, Mireille Enos, Benedict Wong, Timothy Spall, Jack Reynor, and Geraldine Chapman. Buscemi, whose other recent guest-star gig will be on Broad City, will star in “Crazy Diamond,” an episode that centers on a man who gets tangled up in a web of deceit courtesy of a ”beautiful but artificial” woman. “Crazy Diamond” comes from The Young Pope writer Tony Grisoni. Kinnear and Enos will costar in the episode “Father Thing,” which is about a covert alien invasion. They’ll play a couple whose son warns them about the fact that extraterrestrial monsters are slowly replacing human beings.

Electric Dreams is being produced Cranston and his Sneaky Pete collaborator Michael Dinner (who will direct the Kinnear-Enos episode), along with Ronald D. Moore. The series has a 10-episode order, but there’s no word on when it will premiere.
