SNES Classics are coming to Nintendo’s New 3DS

Super Mario World.

What the fuck are the New Nintendo 3DS, and 3DS XL? Like, in comparison the Old Nintendo 3DS? How many fucking iterations are there? But uh, anyways. The New Nintendo 3DS and 3Ds XXXL Pizza are getting SNES classics.

Which I’ll just keep playing on Bateman’s emulator, cause I don’t have a New or Old or Moderately Used 3DS.

The Verge:

Super Nintendo favorites Pilotwings, Super Mario World, and F-Zero will be available for download from the Nintendo eShop beginning today. The SNES downloads will be limited to New Nintendo 3DS and New Nintendo 3DS XL, meaning Nintendo 2DS and original Nintendo 3DS hardware won’t be able to play the games.

Nintendo plans to release more Super Nintendo games for New 3DS in the coming months. On March 24th, Super Mario Kart, Earthbound, and Donkey Kong Country will be available. And The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, Super Metroid, and Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy’s Kong Quest will arrive on April 14th.

According to today’s Nintendo Direct announcement, the games will feature a “Pixel Perfect Mode,” allowing the games to be played in their original resolution.
