Watch: ‘Back to the Future’ documentary trailer declares “Doc Brown doesn’t drive a f**king Mustang”

Official trailer for the upcoming Back To The Future documentary. Got some feels in it, bro. Got some feels. A great look at a classic movie that leaves me thinking only one thing: fuck I wish I had seen this during its initial run in the theaters.

UPROXX:

It’s been three decades since Robert Zemeckis’ crazy little film Back to the Future hit theaters and changed the pop culture world forever. The film spawned two successful movie sequels and two successful hits for Huey Lewis and the News. While I have to agree with Patrick Bateman that Fore is indeed their greatest release, they may not have gotten to achieve such aural beauty if it weren’t for the success of tracks “Back in Time” and “The Power of Love.” But I digress…

Given the anniversary milestone we have hit this year regarding Marty McFly’s trip to the past, Gravitas Ventures is finally releasing director Jason Aron’s Back to the Futuredocumentary, aptly titled Back in Time. Earlier this year, the project was still seeking funding assistance on Kickstarter but alas, the project is finally finished. Featuring conversations with all sorts of folks including Robert Zemeckis, Michael J. Fox, Christopher Lloyd, Bob Gale, Stephen Spielberg, and more, the doc celebrates the work behind the camera that led to the big-screen success that has impacted fans the world over.

Back In Time will enjoy its theatrical release on what is referred to by many a movie nerd as “Back to the Future Day,” a.k.a October 21, 2015. Along with the celebrations scheduled on that very same day, it looks like now is the perfect time to put on your orange puffy vest and Calvin Klein jeans to once again explore the behind-the-scenes story of one of the biggest movie phenomenons from the ’80s. Great Scott, indeed!
