Watch: LEGO Robot controlled by homemade Exosuit. The Future is now.

If we’re going to take on the robots in the forthcoming AI-driven apocalypse, we’re going to need our own weapons. (Lots of weapons.) And it appears that creative-minded Danny Benedettelli is aware of this uncomfortable reality. The Good Lad has created a LEGO robot that can be controlled by an exosuit he built himself. Not entirely unlike that Stark-technology from Iron Man 3. But, you know. Cooler. ‘Cause it’s homemade and such.

BoingBoing:

Danny Benedettelli built a Lego NXT humanoid robot that he controls with a sensor-laden exosuit, known as a “waldo.” For example, when he moves his arms, so does the robot.

Benedtettelli wrote the book Lego Mindstorms, literally: The LEGO MINDSTORMS EV3 Laboratory: Build, Program, and Experiment with Five Wicked Cool Robots
