LEGO announces ‘Jurassic World’ and ‘Avengers’ games

Awesome!

This is going to make a lot of people happy. A lot. And while I don’t generally fuck with LEGO games (not out of a dislike, just, you know, so many games, so little time), I can totally see myself snagging LEGO Avengers.

Polygon:

Jurassic World and Marvel’s Avengers will get the Lego game treatment in 2015, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment announced today.

Lego Jurassic World will encompass storylines from all franchise movies, including Jurassic Park, The Lost World: Jurassic Park and Jurassic Park 3, as well as the upcomingJurassic World. Slated for a June release, the game will be available on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Wii U, Windows PC, PlayStation Vita and Nintendo 3DS.

Lego Marvel’s Avengers will follow film stories including The Avengers and the upcomingAvengers: Age of Ultron. Slated for a June release, the game will also arrive for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Wii U, Windows PC, PlayStation Vita and Nintendo 3DS.

WBIT and developer TT Games will also release Lego Ninjago: Shadow of Ronin, based on the Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu TV series, for Nintendo 3DS and PlayStation Vita on March 24. Lego Batman: Beyond Gotham, which will pair the caped crusader with DC Comics superheroes, is headed to mobile devices this summer.

“This year will be the biggest yet for Lego video games with these incredible titles and several firsts for the series,” said Tom Stone, TT Games managing director. “TT Games are crafting humorous Lego adventures, based on new stories and characters across some of the most well-known and iconic worlds.”

Fuck yes! You down?
