First of Telltale’s six ‘Game of Thrones’ episodes drops soon

It’s been a race between Telltale’s Game of Thrones and Borderlands series to see which title would be responsible for me finally playing one of their games. It appears that the Iron Throne shall claim the victory, shortly.

The first chapter in the episodic Game of Thrones: A Telltale Games Series will launch “soon,” developer Telltale revealed today.

Telltale’s series will star five playable family members plucked from the popular HBO drama and George R. R. Martin’s fantasy novels. Downloadable releases were previously announced for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC platforms.

“Iron From Ice” is the first of six planned episodes premiering in the coming months. A launch date is not yet known.
