    this movie will kick ass and surprise alot of people. I get that lord of the rings books and movies will always be more loved by the fans but I think the hobbit will end up being a very good movie.

    I still don’t know about expanding the story and doing the connective in between stuff. I have no doubt that “The Hobbit” proper stuff will be excellent. The extra stuff chronicling what Gandalf was up to will likely be decent, I just don’t really know how necessary it is. I am pretty forgiving with Star Wars because it is Star Wars. I hold Tolkien to a different level.
