Would you be shocked if you found out that a comic book franchise is aiming to be a trilogy? I hope not.

Spin Off:

If you blinked, you might have missed it.While trying to get followers to buy tickets early this week to The Amazing Spider-Man, the movie’s official Facebook page quietly confirmed the film is the first in a trilogy: “It’s finally here! The Amazing Spider-Man is the first installment in a movie trilogy that will explore how our fave hero’s journey was shaped by the disappearance of his parents.”

Announcing a movie projected to do well will be part of a trilogy before it even debuts is nothing new in Hollywood, but this might just be the first time it’s been done so casually on a Facebook page.

I myself saw Amazing Spider-Man last night, and really dug it. The plot is “eh”, but the actors and the chemistry sizzled and popped, so I’m glad that everyone is involving is getting another chance to dive into the universe.

I saw the movie today and I thought it was awful. I was bored the first hr of the movie. Stan lees bit part was awesome and funny as hell. sally field is not aunt may. I thought peter was a asshole for most of the movie. dennis leary was the only good actor in the whole movie. Yes emma stone was good and the actor who play the lizard is a great actor but anyone could have played that part, he was wasted in this movie. The lizard is one of my fave bad guys but they got him wrong. I,m done with this new movie series, call me when sony gets there head out of it,s ass and gets sam raimi back and give him full control of the spiderman series.
