Japanese Politician Wants To Ban Violent Video Games In Tokyo.

this fuckin' guy!

Sometimes I find it comforting to know that my country isn’t the only country full of douchebag human beings incapable of correctly appropriating responsibility and guilt. It isn’t just my country that is crusading against violence in video games instead of crusading for better and healthier understandings of reality for all, and better means of ensuring parents don’t suck fumes from mufflers and pick their teeth with their own pubes.

If a Japanese politician has his way, Japan or more specifically Tokyo will be comfortably rubbing up against us.

On Thursday, Shigefumi Matsuzawa spent a good amount of time wagging his finger in front of television cameras and talked about dangers and horrors of violent video games. He said “he’d ban them as well if he’s elected governor of Tokyo.”

Go on Matsuzawa, elaborate!:

Games like ‘Grand Theft Auto III’ award points and allow advancement for murdering people, and there are cases of these games lowering inhibitions to killing and ultimately stimulating people to murder.

To stop this scourge spreading through the youth of Kanagawa, I reformed youth protection ordinances to ban the sale of these games.

If possible, I’d like to bring restrictions in Tokyo, Kanagawa, Chiba and Saitama into line with each other. It’s not right for us to ban these games in Kanagawa only to have youths able to buy them in Tokyo.

This motherfucker must be hanging out with Steve Pope. They get together and opine about the dangers of those GAME STATIONS that are NOTHING LESS than MAINLINE INJECTIONS OF PIXEL POT AND CONTROLLER COCAINE.
